Le Grand Colbert

Situated near several of the most famous theaters in the city, Le Grand Colbert’s elegant interiors continue to play host to the city’s glitterati, as they’ve done for centuries (though not always as a restaurant). Here you’ll find steak tartare, beef béarnaise, and heaping trays of seafood, served among the thick red curtains, black leather banquettes, and dim globe lamps of your most-Parisian fantasies. It isn’t called “Grand” for nothing.

Andy’s Notes:

Take advantage of Le Grand Colbert’s generous (by French standards) afternoon hours if you’re hungry in the late afternoon. While most Paris eateries close between lunch and dinner, Le Grand Colbert serves continuously until midnight.
