Arènes de Lutèce

The Arènes de Lutèce dates back to the 1st century A.D. when it was constructed by the Romans as an amphitheater that could once accommodate up to 15,000 people and was used for gladiator fights. Today the ancient Roman ruins are among the most important from their era in Paris.

Andy’s Notes:

These ruins are tucked away in a quiet residential neighborhood. Consider them a hidden secret that you may have to yourself.
