Basilique du Sacrè-Cœur de Montmartre

Perched atop the hill in Montmartre, you can see the all-white Sacrè-Coeur basilica from pretty much anywhere in Paris. One of the city’s most iconic landmarks, it also features gorgeous panoramic views across Paris from its location 130 meters above the city. The church is constructed in Roman-Byzantine style and inside its ceiling features the largest mosaic in France. Visitors can also access the dome of the church, which offers 360-degree Paris views.

Andy’s Notes:

The neighborhood around Sacré-Cœur is called Montmartre and it is one of the most charming places in Paris for a stroll. The cobbled streets are filled with galleries, bistros, and boutiques and you’ll find plenty of artists working on the streets. It has a romantic bohemian vibe as well.
