It took more than 100 years and six different architects to build the Church of Saint-Sulpice, which wasn’t completed until 1732. The second-largest church in Paris, it is only slightly smaller than Notre Dame, and the interior dimensions are quite striking. Look for Saint-Sulpice in the Latin Quarter on the east side of Place Saint-Sulpice.
The square adjacent to the church is Place Saint-Sulpice. If you are looking for French luxury brands, head to the north of the square for Yves Saint Laurent, Christian Lacroix, and other designers’ storefronts.
