Les Puces de Saint-Ouen

The largest and most famous flea market in Paris is Les Puces, which translates to “the flea.” The market covers seven hectares just north of the Paris city line and is the world’s biggest antique market. Each weekend it sees more than 100,000 visitors and can get very crowded around lunch. The market sells pretty much everything from vintage clothing to African art as well as lots of antiques. Rue des Rosiers is the main street to walk down.

Hours Friday through Monday, 9:45 a.m. to 1 p.m., 2 p.m. to 5.45 p.m.; Closed Jan. 1, May 1 and Dec. 25.
Tickets Admission is free
Andy’s Notes:

It is best to visit on Saturday or Sunday as many vendors are not open on Monday. Don’t bring more cash or valuables than you need, as pickpockets do work this market, although it is no more dangerous than other locations, it is just prime picking grounds, as people come here to shop. To get to the market you’ll take Line 4 to Porte de Clignancourt and just follow the crowds.
