Paris’ most famous cathedral, Notre Dame, was significantly damaged in a fire in 2019 and is currently closed. The fire destroyed the iconic spire atop the church and also the building’s original wooden roof. The two bell towers, however, remain intact and can be seen from a distance.
Don’t expect to get anywhere close to the church currently, as it is closed, but you can take pictures from a distance. It is unclear how long it will take to rebuild Notre Dame.
