Seine River

The Seine River flows through Paris on its 777-kilometer journey from its source to the sea. The river flows through the heart of Paris and borders 10 of the city’s 20 arrondissements. In fact you are likely to have heard of the left and right banks in reference to Paris, these refer to the two sides of the city split by the mighty river. There are 32 bridges that cross the Seine in Paris with the Pont Neuf being the most famous. You can also take a river cruise, which are very popular.

Tickets For a river cruise, from around $12 to around $250, depending on length and meals served.
Andy’s Notes:

There is a trick to orient yourself using “left bank” or “right bank” in terms of Paris topography. Make sure you are facing downriver. If you are, the left bank will always be on your left and the right bank on your right.
