Musée National Picasso-Paris

The museum’s collection spans over 5,000 works and 200,000 archived pieces, making it the only museum in the world to showcase Picasso’s wide range of paintings, sculptures, engravings, illustrations, and creative process (including films, documents, photos and books of the artist at work). The museum contains around 300 of Picasso’s paintings, including his Cubist Man with Guitar and Man with Mandolin, as well as pieces from his 1950s pop art period. Housed in a 17th-century mansion, the 37-room museum recently underwent a five-year renovation designed to make the layout easier for visitors to navigate.

Hours Tuesday to Friday, 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Saturday, Sunday, and public holidays, 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Tickets $15 (permanent and temporary collections) or reduced rate of $12 (permanent exhibition only); free the first Sunday of the month and for visitors under 18.
