Museum Pass for Paris

The best — and most economical way — to see Paris’ top museums is to purchase the incredible Paris Museum Pass, offered by the Paris Convention and Visitors Bureau, which gives you access to more than 50 — count ‘em, 50! — venues, including the Louvre (where you can see the Mona Lisa), Musée d'Orsay, Musée Rodin, Musée Picasso, Musée de l’Ordre de la Libération, and dozens of others. If you just want to take in a few museums, grab the two-day pass. The biggest bargain: the six-day pass for just $85!

Hours Generally, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., with some open late on certain days.
Tickets $57 (good for 48 hours), $72 (96 hours), $85 (144 hours)
Andy’s Notes:

France has always been a leader in allowing easy access to its treasured arts — and the $85 price for six consecutive days is proof positive. Say you visit 15 museums: That’s less than $6 a venue — less than half the cost of a movie. And these museums are addictive, one or two is never enough!

Tour Benefits

  • Your admission card has “Fast Track Entry’’ benefits — meaning you can walk right in without having to stand in line.
  • Your ticket won’t be activated until you visit your first museum.
  • While you’ll be on your own, most museums offer guided tours you can book on the spot.
