Les Bains Paris

Les Bains has served as everything from a private bathhouse during the time of Marcel Proust to a nightclub frequented by Mick Jagger and David Bowie in the 1980s. It has since been reborn as a mix of its former lives, and now has 39 rooms in which you can spend the night once the party winds down. Rooms take on a bohemian flair with replicas of Warholian sofas, custom art, and Marshall music stations. Guests can take advantage of unlimited access to the vitality pool and steam rooms. Both the bar and restaurant are new additions and feature talented mixologists and head chefs like Brazilian-born Bruno Grossi.

Andy’s Notes:

Les Bains may now boast a hotel component, but the nightlife institution hasn’t lost its luster. Philippe Starck’s black-and-white checkerboard floor still hosts dance parties with hot artists and DJs. The atmosphere at the boutique hotel in the Marais is similar to what Ian Schrager created with his PUBLIC hotels. Another major perk: Le Labo amenities in the bathrooms.
