La Maison de l’Aubrac

If you want the finest French beef from the most respected French cows, come to La Maison de l’Aubrac. The restaurant’s Aubrac cattle, all from the family farm, have their own nutritionists and eat all natural, GMO-free diets, are regularly groomed, have ample pastures and roam free in their mist-equipped barns, all while enjoying calming music when indoors. You’ll feel similarly pampered at this white linen steakhouse that’s among the most upscale in the city, and includes a behemoth wine list. If you’re bringing the whole family, you’ll be glad to see there’s even a children’s steak menu here.

Hours

Sunday through Tuesday: Noon to 1:00 a.m.; Wednesday and Thursday: Noon to 7:00 p.m.; Friday and Saturday: Noon to 8:00 p.m.

Andy’s Notes:

Take note of this restaurant’s unusual schedule if you’re the type who gets a hankering for steak in the middle of the night, or even for breakfast. Four days per week, it’s open nearly 24 hours.
