Le Peninsula Paris

The iconic Haussmann building started as an haute hotel in the 1900s that welcomed artists and socialites. After a multi-year restoration led by artisans, the hotel has been reborn in an even more luxurious fashion as The Peninsula Paris. Draped in marble, wood paneling, and gold-leaf finishing, this beauty in the Golden Triangle, near the Arc de Triomphe and Champs-Élysées, is the epitome of Parisian glamour. The spa measures over 19,000 square feet and features aromatic steam showers and saunas, and the fitness center is home to a 72-foot heated pool. As for the 200 rooms and suites, they’re some of the city’s finest — and most spacious.

Andy’s Notes:

Most of the city’s Palace hotels are clustered in the 8th Arrondissement. The perk of staying here is the quiet atmosphere and picture-perfect view of the Eiffel Tower from the rooftop bar. Breakfast is as lavish as the hotel (with menu options from American-style to a healthy spa breakfast). Check in and check out are also flexible (and private), adding to the VIP feel.
