Shang Palace

On the ground floor of the five-star Shangri-La Hotel, Shang Palace was the first Chinese fine dining restaurant in the city to be awarded a Michelin star. Serving traditional Cantonese in an atmosphere as authentic to Chinese fine dining as the cuisine itself, Shang Palace’s extensive menu offers more than 60 dishes with preparations ranging from dim sum to wok and barbecue, but the salmon lo hei and Peking duck are foolproof selections for those who may be overwhelmed by the sheer volume of choice.

Andy’s Notes:

Curious diners will be interested to know that Chef Samuel Lee is particularly proud of his spinach soup with tofu and crab, and his barbecued Ibérico pork in honey.
