Blé Sucré

Don’t be fooled by its understated appearance or pedestrian prices; Blé Sucré is helmed by Fabrice Le Bourdat, former head pastry chef at Le Bristol, and is well-regarded as a top patisserie in the city. Mouths water in anticipation of his daily-baked millefeuille and citrus-glazed madeleines, which have garnered plenty an accolade from reviewers and top chefs, but it’s also a superb spot for a famed croissant with morning coffee.

Tuesday through Saturday: 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.; Sunday: 7:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Blé Sucré is a bit out of the way, but the exquisite quality and inexplicably reasonable prices are worth the extra effort.
