L’As du Fallafel

This inexpensive, unassuming falafel shop in the Jewish quarter of Le Marais is a local obsession. Get in line for traditional Middle Eastern grab-and-go like kebabs, shawarma, and, of course, falafel, which most Parisians claim is the best in the city. Grab the signature falafel sandwich with eggplant and hummus, and sip some Israeli wine for the full experience. L’As du Fallafel isn’t just for takeaway, though — there is a takeout window, but it’s also a full-service restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating.

Andy’s Notes:

L’As du Fallafel is a kosher restaurant, and also offers both vegetarian and vegan meals, so it’s a great option for satisfying a variety of dietary needs.
